Old World Renaissance Festival - Meet hundreds of family members living, working & playing in Southern California's only permanent Renaissance Village. Visitors to this 1450-1600 European Village are entertained, discover fine arts and crafts, and enjoy delectable food and beverages. The setting is the fictitious estate of the Baron Heinrich Von Lauffer, located along the Rhine river (a.k.a. Santa Ana River) between Mainz and Strasbourg) Each year the Baron invites the finest minds and talented actors to celebrate the coming of spring at his Barony of Koroneburg. The festival celebrates the inventions and changes of the renaissance period.

Located at the Crossroads Riverview Park (formerly Prado Basin Park, on land leased from the US Corp of Engineers and Riverside County Parks & Open Spaces District), 14600 River Rd, Corona, CA. The festival uses 9 beautiful acres of the 120-acre park. Southern California's only permanent renaissance village is just minutes from major metropolitan cities in Riverside County, San Bernardino and Orange County. The park is nestled among eucalyptus, cottonwood & pepper trees.
Must dos: Visit the glass blower and the village blacksmith. Watch as the candle maker makes 6" candles. Try your hand at making chain mail. Visit the barber-surgeon, and cheer with the Baron at the spectacular horse show or battle reenactments. Be part of a play. Take a ride on the authentic hand propelled Carousel or ride the Giant Swing.
Edibles: Delicious food and drink available. Giant turkey legs, bratwurst, soup, veggies, funnel cakes, ice cream, imported and domestic ale and beer, soda and much more are offered.
Entertainment: Re-enactors will portray characters from Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, England and other European countries. Meet Nostradamus and Gutenberg. Meet other famous and not-so-famous shapers of history. Visitors will enjoy five stages of entertainment, featuring plays, music, dancing, comedy and juggling. Wandering minstrels, exciting horse shows, archery competitions, a traditional school of arts and crafts for children of all ages. Thrill to the jousting of the Imperial Knights and their amazing trained horses.
Crafts: Artisans present, sell and demonstrate their handcrafted wares. Glass blowers, potters, soap makers, purveyors of fine swords, jewelry, leather, period clothing and many other European merchants offer a wide variety of beautifully crafted wares.
