Weekend BBQ

As if we don't do enough socializing... we are getting together this Saturday afternoon (weather permitting) for a good old fashioned afternoon of BBQ and games. Purely social, the only reason I am making it a an actual gathering is so that I can get a head count for food. Children and well behaved dogs are welcome to join us, but do keep in mind that since I don't have kids, I don't have toys. Please RSVP for all the bodies you will bring.

I have a croquet set, Scot and Melissa have offered up horseshoes and the natural space is great for walking and exploring. I hope that someone will bring a Frisbee or hackey sack, and any other outside game they want to play. I have some chairs for the porch/yard but if you have an easily transported folding/camping chair, you might consider bringing it, just in case.

I have the means to borrow a grill from the best neighbor ever, but if someone could bring another, it would be much appreciated. Please bring a dish and/or beverage to share. We will be allowing alcohol at this get-to-gether, so if you plan to partake, please bring some to share and be safe about driving. DD's are a great idea, then again so is moderation.

Chris has a great fire pit, and we like to light it around dusk. If you have spare wood/logs/kindling lying around, the donation would be greatly appreciated.
