MYSTIC FAYRE'S Samhain Open House - Nov. 7, 2009 in Rio Linda

Come one! Come all! Mystic Fayre is celebrating our new home by holding an OPEN HOUSE from 10:00 AM until Midnight on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 in Rio Linda, near the intersection of Watt Ave. and Elkhorn Blvd.

The address is 6124 20th Street. Please see directions below.

There is no charge for admission before 6:30 PM. After 6:30 a donation of $5.00 will be requested of each person without a hand-stamp.

6:00 PM to 7:00 PM - Samhain Ritual by Sacred Fire

7:00 PM to 8:00 PM - Music by Hobbyhorse

8:00 PM to Midnight - Mystic Ball and Party around the Bonfire under the Stars

(Alcoholic drinks will be permitted in designated areas after 8:00 PM by those who are 21 and older.)

Needed: Volunteers, Vendors, Readers, Entertainers, Leaders for Rituals during the day, anyone who wants to have a good time: Costumes are optional but fun! Please E-Mail me at belisama13@comcast.net for more info.

Parking is limited, so arrive early and car pool if you can! Bring your own drinks, and bring a chair or blanket to sit on if you can. People of all ages are welcome, but parents are responsible for their own children.

There will be a POTLUCK BUFFET in the evening, so please bring something to share.

Take I-80 to the Marysville/Raley Blvd. exit. Go North to E Street. It's a stop sign. Turn right. Go to the next stop sign at 20th and turn left. Counting the corner house, we are the third house on the right.

Drive up the driveway on the left side of the house (as you face it) and drive through the gate and park. If the gate is locked, pull over to the side of the driveway and park. Walk through the side gate. The address is 6124 20th St. The mailbox is across the street.

Or you can enter from Greenback Lane/Elkhorn Blvd. Travel west on Greenback Lane over the freeway and past Watt Ave. where it turns into Elkhorn Blvd. Turn left at 20th Street. Pass several lettered streets. We are just past G St. on the left. Look for the barn behind the house, and come around to the back!

Celtic Harvest Moon Ritual
Friday, September 4, 2009 ~ 6:00-9:00pm (ceremony begins at 7:00pm)

Join us in bringing the Gods & traditions from our past into our present. Rekindle the flame of magick in the heart of humanity. Reconnect with Nature to promote harmony, balance & spiritual growth. Come! Be alive & celebrate the awakening of your spirit within!

This event is open to the public & there is no cost to attend, although voluntary donations are accepted, but not required. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No drugs or alcohol is permitted at this event. We bid thee... welcome!

This Enchanted Gathering focuses on the Celtic culture. The Celts worked closley with the land & nature, honoring the seasons and turning of the wheel of the year. So, it is no suprise to find that the harvest season was of particular importance to them. This evening we will celebrate the fruitfullness of the Earth & the harvest. Our main ceremony will feature a ritual lead by Belisama Fire, after which we will give offerings & feast in honor of all the Celtic deities. This gathering will be held outdoors, rain or shine.

Please join us for our Celebration of Lughnasadh, the First Harvest of the Season on Saturday, August 8, 2009. This is an Open Circle. Everyone is invited to attend: novice and experienced practitioner alike. Children and babies are welcome to attend when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We will begin gathering at 1:00 PM. There may be items for sale by private vendors before the Ritual.

We will start the Ritual at 3:00 PM. If you arrive late, you will be able to observe from outside the Circle.

We will be Feasting after the Ritual, so please bring a dish for the Potluck, and bring your own non-alcoholic drinks. We are a 'Dry' Circle, in that we partake of no drugs or alcohol at any of our events.

We are asking for a $1.00 voluntary donation per person, to help defray expenses.

There will be a Raffle during dinner. Our most grateful thanks go to everyone who has donated items for the Raffles of the past. Raffle tickets may be purchased for 50 cents each, or 15 tickets for $5.00. Raffle proceeds go toward the Eight Seasonal Celebrations which we hold every year.

The 2nd annual Enchanted Living Solstice Festival will be Saturday & Sunday, June 27 & 28, 2009, 10:00am - 6:00pm (both days) at Nichols Ranch ~ 13500 Marengo Rd., Galt, CA 95632

Sacred Fire's public Litha (Midsummer) Ritual will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM. There will be a free Group Past Life Regression on Sunday at 2:00 PM.
There is no cost to enter the Festival. Please bring a canned food item to donate to WEAVE. There will be plenty of crafts & activities for the kids too!
