Introduction
I've been around a long time, so I've had the excitement of seeing great growth and change in the Pagan community. My personal leaning is toward bardic work, and my ritual style reflects that preference. My two kids have both grown up in the Craft.
What would you like to get out of a Pagan Meetup group, and what do you wish to offer it?

I'd like to meet new friends with different Pagan backgrounds, to share and learn together. I offer my varied experience (since the early 1970's) and whatever skills or knowledge I've picked up along the way, in traditional training or otherwise.

What are your favorite books?

Goodness! So many?how to choose? Um, anything by Isaac Bonewits ("Real Magic", "Bonewits's Essential Guide to Witchcraft and Wicca "). "Stranger in a Strange Land" by Robert Heinlein. The "Tao Te Ching" by Lao-tzu. "Principia Discordia."

Background in Pagan practice (Newcomer? Studied with Gerald Gardner? Founder of the Coven of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?)

Pagan since early 1970's; degree in Classical Languages (which was basically a way to sneak in Pagan clergy training). Former Coordinator of the Pagan/Occult/Witchcraft Special Interest Group of Mensa. I'm grateful for wonderfully good teachers.

Member of a coven, circle, grove, etc.?

Active member of Waxing Moon Circle (the oldest of the South Bay Circles covens) and the Temple of Inanna and Dumuzi (a non-Wiccan Mesopotamian Temple). Less active member of Thiasos Olympikos (a Hellenic Reconstructionist group).

Initiated into a tradition or lineage? Which one(s)?

Feri; Gardnerian; Waxing Moon; Hekatean .
