The Alexandria Pagan Meetup Group
|
This group's purpose is to unite local people of similar beliefs and ideals, to gain knowledge and friendship through the catalyst of faith, and to establish a connection to older roots that should never be forgotten. Anyone of paganistic faith is welcome, as well as those who just want information on the religion or an idea of where to start. Our progress so far is very promising, as far as meetups go. Our group is becoming much more tight-knit and cooperative. POA, eat your hearts out. Aside from information exchange, we have fun, laugh a lot, and have good conversation. What's assembly without xeniality, after all? The rules of meetups are as follows: Act like adults. This means no throwing stuff, or any other unwise unviolence, picking apart another's ideals, or getting into debate that can cause animosity or anger. The rules are pretty much self-evident. Be mature. Have fun. And above all, any racial, sexist, religious stoning, or hateful comments will not be tolerated. Christian Hell hath no fury like a pagan scorned! XD Above all, have fun, shake hands of those you meet, run around in glee without breaking anything, and Be Blessed. Matthew

Our next meeting:
May Meetup
We got some interesting invitations at the last meet-up, so let's try to get some form of theory and insight into practice if they show this time.
There have been alot of weird things going on lately that have some explaining to come to. One is the flood of new members whom we can't accommodate in the little setting we're in. The second is that we're getting a wider range of beliefs and paths. Read more
