This is a special Meet Up (not our regularly scheduled one, which will be Dec. 22). We will be doing a one hour guided meditation. It was created and recorded by Starhawk. It is one of my favorites and I don't know anyone who has done it that hasn't enjoyed it thouroughly. We have presented this guided meditation for at least 150 people over the years and even those who said they "can't" meditation were able to get something out of this and found that their meditation was easier from then on.
Please sign up if you are interested. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring a comfortable chair or cushion to sit on. Try to get enough sleep the night before - snoring can be distracting to your fellow meditators.

This special Meet Up is brought to you by the Blue Moon tradition for the purpose of education on the differences between traditional Wicca and other forms of Wicca currently being practices. While traditional Wicca may not be for everyone there are elements of the practice which many Wiccans may find useful to their own personal path. We will share what we can in this two hour seminar and be happy to answer questions.

Since this Meet Up will be held so close to Samhain I thought it might be nice to talk some about the importance of ancestors and ancestral wisdom. At this time of year it is said that the "veil between the Worlds is thin. It is a time when we can connect more easily with those who have gone before us. Bring photographs or other mementos of ancestors who have been a positive influence on your life and we can share some stories.
Don't forget: This is our regular 4th Tuesday Meet Up night. There is a special Meet Up Thursday, October 29 on "Traditional Wicca". If you intend to attend that one as well please sign up on the seperate page for that Meet Up so we know how many will be attending. Thanks!

One suggestion we have for the upcoming meetup is a guided meditation/journey to find a totem animal or animal guide. We are open to other suggestions in addition to this one. If there is enough interest we will be planning a seperate, one-day Meetup seminar on "Traditional Wicca".
