Greetings,

This Sunday, September 13, will be a first go at planning a Samhain Celebration. The location will be my at my home on October 31. Rusty and I have mapped out a general idea of things to take place that evening. We are looking for people who are interested in helping with different parts of the evening's events to come to this meeting to offer up their ideas on that day.

Samhain is many things... the last celebration of the wheel of the year, last harvest festival, beginning of the dark times, thinning of the veil between realms, a time of remembrance for those who have gone on to the Summerlands...

We need ladies to participate as readers being the Three Fates, someone to play the part of Odin by Yagdrasil, someone to play the parts of both Death and Charon. Help is needed in painting and decorating some of the items to be used in the path to the underworld. Lots for everyone to do. smile

See you on Sunday!

Brightest Blessings,
Sal

You asked for ladies to play the Fates, you didn't specify old hags! Well just put me down to play a Fate if no other suitable hags can be found. Or make a part for me for Persephone, as I have been working with her lately.

Cheyenne - Atropos? Oh come on you're no old hag... LOL Rusty and I certainly plan to have an altar where people can place things and light candles for those who have departed for the Summerlands. Brightest Blessings, Sal

Can't come this weekend, but I would love to be Atropos of the Fates :) I'll bring lots of scissors! muahahaha! But seriously, I want to honor my grandmother who passed away this year, so we should have something set up where we can bring pictures of our beloved deceased.
