Jason and Shelly Andrus
Jason Andrus was a truck driver for UPS 5 years ago, driving triple trailers to Salt Lake City from Idaho Falls 4 nights a week—away from his family and exhausted. Shelley was a teacher working too many hours for not enough pay, which also took away time from raising her young family of three children. They found this system, applied the knowledge and shared their success and in the last 18 months have created $800,000. They now enjoy time with their family, choose when and how they work, and have invested in their future with real estate holdings that cash flow each month.
Jason Andrus always wanted more out of life than was handed to him. However, the cards were stacked against him—told by many teachers that he would never succeed; he was out to prove them wrong. He followed a dream of driving truck and began working for UPS. After 4 ½ years with the company he landed his dream job: driving three trailers through the night from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake City. The dream job soon turned into a nightmare when Jason became exhausted by the 15 hour shifts, the night driving, bad weather, and being asleep during the day instead of with his family. Reality hit when he knew all he had to look forward to was 25 more years of more of the same.
Jason had a vision of investing in real estate over the next 10 years to create wealth and passive income so he could retire early, but he wasn’t sure of the strategy or the vehicle. After dabbling in a rental home, he knew he needed to learn more to be able to do more. He found Nouveau Riche and he and his wife Shelley knew this was a system they could really take advantage of. The live college studies gave them the knowledge they needed, the fear dissipated, and the dreams turned into realities. A ten year plan became a 1 year plan when Jason quit his job after 10 years with UPS and he and Shelley became full-time investors. The real fun began when they realized they could help others achieve their goals as well, and empower others to change their lives with Nouveau Riche.
Through the course of the last 4 years Jason has structured over 75 real estate transactions, including short sales, subject-to’s, wholesales, and buy-and-hold rentals. He hosts a top-rated radio show on real estate investing and mindset. As a radio personality, Jason keeps his fact-filled presentations just plain fun. He and Shelley have generated over $1,100,000 in the last three years, ($800,000 of that was created in the last 18 months) to drive their real estate investing. They now live in Boise enjoying time with their children and helping others succeed.
