As to the loose canon reference, I have posted new guidelines on the Welcome Page to help establish a space everyone can breathe in. All comments referring to differences that may arise should be delivered confidentially to the persons directly involved via their Email link, rather than placed in public view. Thank you everyone. I hope great care will be taken to save the world SLOWLY, not quickly. Speed sucks. See also: weather changes.

I enjoyed the notion that pagans might look for ways to find pagan providers for our ordinary purchasing and service needs, to help keep our fellows afloat while honoring Fair Trade goods and such.

Other than dealing patiently with loose cannons, there were some interesting topics discussed in regards to how the pagan community is going to survive these modern times. One topic was the discussion of the small independent self-sufficient town or community and local farmer markets. Another interesting topic discussed is the idea of Mother Earth, Gaia, as the inventor of the Internet.

    •  It was good to start meeting Pagans in the area. I will have to go to more meetings to meet more people, but the space was good and everyone was friendly.
    •  I found the meet up of Friday the 13th to be a really great meeting if you don?t mind sitting patiently and graciously while someone who has very questionable cridentials and whom you don?t know at all, publicly tries to humiliate you in front of the rest of group by ripping you, your philosophy, your beliefs, your views and practices apart, ridiculing your loved ones and threatening you with harm because they have zero understanding and tolerance for anything that appears to be different from theirs. This is really wrong and individuals like this need a reality check. If this behavior continues unchecked in a community, all that the community does usually will be lost including the community. But other than this, the rest of the members were warm hearted and friendly and this is where the true spirit of the Everett meet up group resides. This more than made up for any bad feelings and fears perhaps expressed by any other members.
    •  I like the new location, very clean energy, nice room. I like that new ppl to the pac nw are fi nding us. I think a group grounding and centering might be a good idea prior to the meeting getting started.
