We are an unusual couple that follows basic, simple nature oriented path, but we are also HARLEY BIKERS. We've found very few bikers that are also Pagans. Most bikers are Christian oriented, even if drugging/drinking (we are not into drug or heavy drinking scene either) or a few Buddhist bikers.

I've spent past 10 yrs seeking out a combo like ourselves to hang with!!! WHERE ARE YOU???? Would prefer another couple 40 up. Mature, stable, open, fun loving, great sense of humor! Enjoys adventures, travels, music, nature, good times.

I, Gypsy also into belly dance and would love to meet a group of women with interest in bellly dance within 10 mi of Titusville Fl where I now live!

Husband, Dee is also a Navy Vet...Viet Nam Vet.

He was born, raised in Kansas. I was born/raised in Texas.

We also search for drumming circles.

As you can see, it seems nearly impossible to find others like ourselves???
We also live the RV life. I am wondering...does another couple with our same interests, life style EXIST AT ALL anywhere????

I've been Pagan 53 of my 63 yrs. Dee into it 15 yrs since we met, married.

I'd be thrilled beyond words if just 1 response to this message!!! And could find a near equal match for friendship. We always feel "so different" from nearly every person we meet. We're both outgoing Leos and meet a ton of people, travel, but so far, have not met anyone at all with all our same interests, attitudes, lifestyle, etc.
Tis a puzzle! Surely, we're not the ONLY ONES in the world with a combo of interests and attitudes as described? We meet people that match maybe 1 of the requirements we seek, but so far, have never met any that meet all of it.
I don't know where else to look? Suggestions anyone?? BB, Gypsy in Titusville, Florida

Actually, my husband met them when he rode and lived in California back in the late 1970s. They are not as bad as people are lead to believe and actually do a lot of charitable work at times. Bikers have their own rules and justice and it is often hard for outsiders to understand this or the biker culture, way of life. All they know about us is stories, movies, news media hype, read some article, etc., but until a person IS a biker, lives amongst them, married to a biker, has attended biker weddings, funerals, birthing of biker children, then they have no clue of what bikers feel or believe. We have found biker Pagans like ourselves back in Texas, but so far, we have not been able to find this unique combo in Florida in 5 yrs searching here. Hubby & I met in a hard core biker bar back in Texas 15 yrs ago. We had our biker wedding/party in that same bar. 100s of bikers came from all over to join in the celebration. Bikers are like a giant family of close bros and sisters. We party, laugh together and we cry...together.
We love our families, our children, our country, have set rules, values, love our homes, gardens, pets, spiritual aspects, love our HARLEYS. No other brand bike will do for a true blue biker! We proudly wear our leathers, our vests with patches collected a lifetime, many patches honor fallen bikers we love and miss, patches to honor the 1000s that died in Viet Nam. MANY BIKERS are WAR VETS of Viet Nam or this war. My husband is a Viet Nam Vet...Navy. He sacrificed 14 yrs of his young life and lost his leg above the knee. But he kept on working, living a full life, admired by all that meet him. He kept onn riding with 1 leg!
Bikers are a deeply courageous group anyway. They lose arms, legs, etc. and keep on riding..and living life to fullest. I AM PROUDLY BIKER!And also proudly a crone...wife (4th time around), mother, and grandmother. Proud of my 13 tattoos. Proud of 53 of my 63 yrs of being Pagan, long before it became sort of like a stylish fad...to be Pagan. Thanks for your response. BB, Gypsy

To add to above reply, biker groups all have their good or bad people like any group. Some do drugs, drink too much, land in jail, etc. Others live a clean life. Such differences in people are found any place in America...in churches or Pagan groups.
In any family. BUT anyone with sense does NOT want to "mess around with a biker" either! Example, if someone purposely knocks over a Harley, damage, they will get beaten up badly. If anyone dares a home invasion of a biker's home, harms their wife or kids, you better believe word spreads fast and 100 bikers will come and find the criminal and "teach them harder lessons" than just going to jail. Bikers are very protective of each other! Back home in Texas, a man raped a biker's wife. The bikers tracked him down. He was taken into the woods, stripped nude, tied to a tree, honey poured all over him, left there 2 days before they made a call to the local sheriff to pick him up. The guy was covered in ant bites. BIKER JUSTICE the man deserved!
Another true story, rural area outside of Ft. Worth. Bikers got word a man raped a 7 yr old boy. They found this man too, tied him to the back of a Harley, dragged him miles through fields, rough roads, then dumped him, still alive in front of the sheriff's office, a note on him saying he was a child molester/rapist!

When I hung in biker bars back home, 1 night an outsider as we called it came in our bar, began saying sexually nasty remarks to me. All I had to do was raise my arm up high, snap fingers, with a "yoa" & 10 of my biker bros pulled him off his bar stool, surrounded him, their arms folded, staring him down, then asked him what he was saying to THEIR SISTER? He was shaking like a mouse...LOL. They grabbed him hard, made him apologize to me, then they slammed him against a wall, gave him a stern warning, told him he was not welcome, to never come back in this bar again. We never did see him again. LOL. BIKER JUSTICE! Outsiders see only 1 side of what happens, end results, not the whole incident, so we get a "bad rep" based on heresay don't we?

Each year in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area well over 500,000 bikers join together in December, bike to bike., side to side, toys strapped on bikes, carrying 1000s of toys for kids during biker toy run. They each pay $5 to ride, then collect $1000s more from merchants, community, bikers to raise close to $1 million or more to HELP a Ft. Worth CHILDRENS HOSPITAL!!! 77 bikers began this 20 yrs ago when this hospital nearly closed due to lack of funds. It grew to 1000s wanting to help. They meet at the convention center and pay for bus loads of handicapped and sick children to sit on stage, while biker santa hands out gifts each child asked for. We collect also for a new wheelchair for a child. News media is there, mayors of towns, and it is a proud day, not a dry eye anywhere! I rode proudly on Harleys in that biker toy run. I rode in times of ice on ground, dangerous, ice pelting my face, stiff as a board when dismounting after the run, but like 1000s of my biker family, nothing stopped us from this day of GIVING TO CHILDREN & HELPING 10,000 families have a better xmas holiday!!! We so called "scary bikers" would hug the crying mothers of sick kids as she sobbed, thanking us so much for helping her child!!! We hugged the children. Their eyes so bright and shiny with excitement, as they were THE STARS of the day! LOVE FLOWED. If only the Pagan community would do the same type thing, eh??? Come together to help those in need! We now go to the biker toy run each year that begins at Merrit Island goes to Melbourne. Toys and money to help kids and Shriners. IF ONLY EVERY PAGAN WOULD ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO SUCH A GOOD CAUSE. The money I see Pagans spend in Pagan shops, Ren faires, FPG for self pleasure could be better used to help a needy community, especially during recession times! PROUDLY BIKER!!! Gypsy

Pagans MC
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Pagans Motorcycle Club is a motorcycle club formed by Lou Dobkins in 1959 in Prince George's County, Maryland. Known colloquially as simply The Pagans, the club rapidly expanded, and by 1968 they dominated the entire East Coast.

By 1965 The Pagans, originally clad in blue denim jackets and riding Triumphs, began to evolve along the lines of the stereotypical one percenter motorcycle club.

The Pagans MC patch depicts the Norse fire-giant Surt wielding a flaming sword, plus the word "Pagans" in red, white and blue.

Well yeah, but I was trying to point out that there are alternative MCs to the Pagans, especially since you don't seem to like riding Triumphs.

cool

Good Morning,

Thanks for info and reply. Maybe someday we will run across ppl like ourselves? Hope so. Searched well over 15 yrs so far. Difficult to really fit in with most ppl when we have so many aspects and interests. Pagan, but moderate on this...we don't get into the silly stuff, drugs, drinking, sky clad groups, etc. I grew up celtic pagan, my mother from England & lived there as a child. I was taught the old ways, not the wicca we see of today, although that's all that is presented...every circle, most covens, etc. and book stores filled with Wiccan books. My 1st witchcraft lessons, age 10 in 1954 taught by a wise woman in her 60s, 8th generation witch. Wicca was unheard of at that time. Biker since a child, began riding on my uncle's Harley when age 5!!!
Took up belly dancing in my 20s and was still performing in 06...62 yr old grandmother! Took up drumming circles 15 yrs ago. Love drumming! Traveled a lot, love historical places, haunted places are fun! I was 1 of those hippies back in 60s in a commune you may have read about?? I could write a book on that chapter of life!
Made my own money since 10. Always have worked. Variety of jobs. Still working part time at 63!!! Interest in NA paths and we went to an Indian sweat lodge...awesome! I am part Cherokee so it comes natural to be drawn to anything NA. I wear mostly silver/turquoise jewelry, mixed with crystals. Mix in some pagan type clothes with Indian beads/fringe, etc. and Harley leathers/t shirts, etc. Or, gym clothes when working out at fit center. I have muscles now...yayyyy. So, I am a mix of many things. Plus, wife, mother, grandmother! Life is BUSY! Triple Leo fire sign!

Tell me a bit more about you, ok? BB, Gypsy in Titusville FL PS: Tomorrow, Wed. eve, 7:04 pm the astronauts returning will fly right over roof of our RV, as they fly low over river to land at KENNEDY SPACE CENTER. Always awesome and the loud sonic boom heard everywhere! We live 2 blocks from Indian River Lagoon and can see the NASA buildings in distance across river. We're a 15 min drive from beach.Love the scenic drive. 5 mi other direction is St Johns River and airboat rides...fun!
Love to explore, learn, experience new things!!!
